All scaffolds are possible: with XERVON Austria

Any height, any shape, any project: XERVON Austria has been working as a specialist in scaffolding construction for around 30 years

Even from a distance, they shine over Vienna – the 230,000 colourfully glazed tiles of St. Stephen's Cathedral. At the very top of the roof, which could hardly be steeper, the gilded double eagle with the double cross watches over the city. For more than 700 years, this Gothic cathedral has shaped the cityscape like no other building. As a national landmark. As a tourist magnet. As an architectural icon with its 136-metre-high south tower. Every renovation of the cathedral is a task of special public interest. And subject to strict monument protection regulations.

From façade scaffolding to industrial scaffolding

XERVON Austria has been continuously active here as a scaffolding specialist for around three decades – and has been represented on the market for more than 60 years. The cathedral is an important reference for XERVON, yet it is only one of many. Every industrial plant and every building has its own requirements and scaffolding solution: industrial scaffolding, classic façade scaffolding, flexible modular node systems, with weather protection enclosures or scaffolding stair towers, as stationary support scaffolding or special constructions such as suspended or mobile scaffolding. The network of Austrian scaffolding specialists stretches from Maria Lanzendorf to Traun and Salzburg, always leading the way for all subsequent trades.

Historic buildings, irregular façades or special architectural requirements place particular demands on scaffolding construction. Such projects require systems with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility. This is where XERVON Austria relies on working and façade scaffolding and careful engineering planning. This allows loads to be specifically dissipated and different loads to be safely absorbed.

Safety?
A trademark of XERVON Austria

In 2024, XERVON Austria took first place in Energie AG's Safety Award for a boiler inspection – proof of the highest levels of safety and quality.

Scaffolding construction at the highest level

There are only a few companies worldwide that offer high-level scaffolding construction. XERVON Austria is one of them and the only one within the RMS Group. Scaffolding construction places the highest demands on structural planning, requires close coordination with other trades and also a great deal of experience with changing construction conditions. Whether for bridges, large ceilings or for lifting and inserting heavy components: whenever structures need to be temporarily supported, relieved or additionally secured. These requirements call for a specialist.

Centimetre-precise scaffolding with maximum safety

Industrial scaffolding is different in its complexity, but similarly challenging. This is because confined, winding spaces, large differences in height, numerous pipes and aggregates often require scaffolding that is accurate to the centimetre. Added to this is the requirement that production processes continue in parallel and as unhindered as possible. This means that the time windows for scaffolding construction are often tight – while at the same time posing the highest challenges in terms of occupational safety, access solutions and plant protection. This is where experience with industrial plants, processes and safety requirements pays off.
