Once a family business in the twelfth district, the company has established itself as a fixture in Vienna, where it is still known today for reliability, clarity, and solid solutions. The name? A nod to the company's entrepreneurial roots in the Meidling district, where it was a fixture in the cityscape for decades on Tivoligasse.
Churches, facades, industrial facilities—MEIDLINGER has erected scaffolding on countless Viennese buildings over the decades. The company has grown with the demands: simple solutions using wood and ladder scaffolding, as were still common in the 1940s and 1950s, have given way to modern system scaffolding. Flexibly combinable for any construction site situation.
Today, the range of services extends far beyond classic facade scaffolding: stair towers, escape stairs, lifts for people and materials, sophisticated church scaffolding inside and outside, exhibition and industrial scaffolding, shelters, temporary roofs, and scaffolding solutions for asbestos removal are all part of everyday business.
Today, MEIDLINGER is part of the RMS Group, which also includes XERVON Austria. This adds the experience and security gained from major international projects – without compromising the company's Viennese profile. Tradition meets modernity.
Ein Facade scaffolding without the usual working platforms, erected exclusively as temporary access. A frame scaffolding system (70 cm) with a roof safety net and passage scaffolding secured the passageway for pedestrians and demonstrated the flexibility of modern scaffolding technology.
A 44-meter-high scaffolding system was erected for work on the tower of St. Pölten Cathedral. The challenge: construction on steep roofs and increased wind forces due to large advertising tarpaulins – a task requiring precise planning and experienced scaffolders.
A modular scaffold (70 cm) with passenger scaffold was used to access steep and flat roofs. An integrated ladder in the scaffold tower enabled safe working even in hard-to-reach areas.
