Successful cooperation on the turnaround of the Neste refinery

DELETE and BUCHEN Industrial Service Baltikum are working together to maintain one of Scandinavia's largest refineries.

The Finnish company DELETE has been part of the REMONDIS Maintenance & Services Group since the end of last year. This spring, the Nordic industrial services provider was involved in the scheduled turnaround of the Neste refinery in Porvoo – together with its Estonian subsidiary, BUCHEN Industrial Services Baltikum. The plant in Porvoo is one of the largest refineries in Scandinavia and processes around 10 million tonnes of crude oil every year. DELETE was responsible for all cleaning services on a total of three production lines during the 2024 turnaround. Mechanical work was also carried out on safety valves and mechanical installations. Our Estonian colleagues provided support in pressure-washing, especially of heat exchangers and tanks. Together, the two teams had more than 200 specialists on site.

DELETE is on site at the refinery in Porvoo year round and provides numerous turnaround-related services, in addition to ongoing maintenance work.
