Here is a review of the Cyclassics 2024 corporate event
Paddles, pulse and power – employees from RMS, BUCHEN and XERVON showed plenty of energy and team spirit during two sporting highlights.
Full concentration before the start, tense faces, then the command – and go! At the Dragon Boat Festival on Lake Fühlinger on 14 June 2025, four boats with employees from BUCHEN and XERVON were at the start: the teams Industriepiraten, RMS-Titanic, Die Wilden aus dem Süden and the Sea Lions. What counted was working together: paddling in unison, staying in line, pulling together – on the water and at the finish line. For many, it was not their first race, but each time was a new experience. The sporting ambition was there, but the focus was on fun, a sense of rhythm and the shared experience beyond the office and construction site.
Company run with over 100 participants
Just a few weeks earlier, on 8 May 2025, it was full steam ahead – this time on solid ground. More than 100 employees took part in the big company run at Lake Fühlinger – from RMS, BUCHEN, XERVON and our sister companies EKO-PUNKT, RETERRA Service GmbH and the REMONDIS Group (Rhineland region). Everyone ran at their own pace, but with one goal in mind: to make a difference together. The day ended with group photos, beaming faces and the good feeling of having been there.

More than just exercise
These two events show that team spirit does not end when the working day is over. People who paddle or run together grow closer – even across locations, departments and companies.
ADAC Cyclassics: The next corporate event
Next sporting event – not far away: on 17 August 2025, the ADAC Cyclassics cycle race will take place in Hamburg – with the now famous pasta party the evening before at the XERVON location. Our staff will then get up to speed over 60 or 100 km.
