WIKO acquisition strengthens the core services of scaffolding and insulation

REMONDIS Maintenance & Services extends its range of services in the Netherlands by acquiring WIKO Isolatietechniek.

REMONDIS Maintenance & Services has been present in the Benelux region for some time now with seven operating companies and a wide range of services. Last year, WIKO Isolatietechniek B.V. joined the group throughout a share deal. With this acquisition, REMONDIS Maintenance & Services has strengthened its existing activities in the core areas of scaffolding and insulation in the Netherlands.

Reinforcement on four levels

In addition to well-trained specialists, WIKO Isolatietechniek brings its extensive scaffolding material as well as locations in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Another plus is the newcomer's long-standing customer base. WIKO Isolatietechniek is particularly active for companies in the petrochemical, chemical, energy and food industries, but also for shipbuilding and the offshore sector. For example, the Dutch company did all the scaffolding and various insulation work in the engine rooms of the Pioneering Spirit, the largest ship in the world in terms of width and gross tonnage.

Through cooperation and networking of the respective services, we can provide solutions that offer decisive added value. A particular strength is that we have a lot in common, for example the clear focus on safety, the high quality standards and a pronounced orientation towards the future.

Successful together

The new member of the REMONDIS Maintenance & Services family continues to operate on the market under its established name, WIKO Isolatietechniek. In organisational terms, the company - just like REYM and BUCHEN EnergyServices - is part of the Dutch national holding company REMONDIS Maintenance & Services B.V. For many years now, WIKO Isolatietechniek has been following the premise that "success is achieved together". In the interests of the customers, the cooperation with the sister companies in the country as well as with other companies of the corporate group will be intensified in the future.
